- 1 cup red kidney beans
- 3.5 cup broth/ water
Wash and rinse the beans with warm water 2 - 3 times before adding them to the instant pot.
Add water to the pot and add rinsed kidney beans and a pinch of salt. Salt is optional and can skip.
Close the lid and turn the pressure valve to seal.
Cook on manual pressure cook mode, high for 45 minutes. It will take around 8 - 10 minutes to come to pressure.
Wait for natural pressure release that might take 10 minutes.
Remove the beans from the excess liquid. Kidney beans are ready to use now.
