What is Buffalo Broccoli?
Buffalo broccoli is an easy appetizer or snack made with broccoli florets and buffalo sauce. This is a vegan version of traditional buffalo chicken wings. Buffalo sauce is a simple hot sauce and its name is after the name of its origin place Buffalo city, in Newyork. It has nothing to do with buffalo or bison.
The roasted broccoli dipped in hot buffalo sauce makes it too awesome and appetizing. This makes an easy and quick appetizer. Serve it with any of your favorite dips.
Is Buffalo Sauce Vegan?
Originally the buffalo sauce has a lot of butter in it. But this is easily customizable to make vegan buffalo sauce. This is a vinegar-based buttery spicy hot sauce and adds a lovely tangy flavor to the broccoli bites. However, here I will share the easy homemade buffalo sauce recipe so that you can adjust the heat as you like. I love to add tomato ketchup or maple syrup to balance the heat and take the flavor to another level. It's truly delicious.
